Inter Milan president Erick Thohir has confirmed he is interested in bringing Edin Dzeko, Fernando Torres or Alvaro Morata to the San Siro.
The Italian giants have been frequently linked with a move for the aforementioned strikers as Thohir is said to be in the market for a top-class striker.
News of Inter Milan's interest in the trio was thought to be merely transfer speculation until Thohir confirmed their interest in Manchester City's Dzeko, Chelsea's Torres and Morata of Real Madrid.
Thohir, speaking to Italian outlet Gazzetta dell Sport, said on recent speculation linking him with a move for the trio: "We will sign a striker in the summer and he will be of European standard.
"We have a lot of candidates in our list.
"We have to sign a striker and reports point to Dzeko, (Real Madrid forward Alvaro) Morata and Torres, and it would be great if one of them was to join us."
Torres is expected to leave Chelsea at the end of the season after what has proved to be another incredibly frustrating season at Stamford Bridge.
Dzeko, on the other hand, has impressed when he has been given the chance but is still thought to be behind Sergio Aguero and Alvaro Negredo in Manchester City's pecking order.
And Real Madrid's Morata could be allowed to leave the Santiago Bernabeu at the end of the season either on a temporary or permanent basis.
