LeBron James tops NBA jersey sales list

LeBron James is the most popular names among NBA fans and has topped the list for biggest-selling jerseys in the league for this year.

According to ESPN.com, the Miami Heat superstar made it six years of topping the list from his 11 in the league and the Heat were also the best selling team. The information was released on Thursday by NBAstore.com from sales made during the regular season that has just concluded and a list if the top 15 individual players was released.

Second behind LeBron James was Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder in his highest ever finish in the standings. Another quirk was that Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant was third on the list, despite only making six appearances this season - the Lakers' worst in many a year.

ESPN also point out that Derrick Rose was fourth despite also only making a handful of appearances for the Chicago Bulls, 10 in all. Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors completed the top five - see the top 15 below:
