Yes you did read that correctly.
Shaquille O'Neil today invited the world's media into his Californian mansion for a pre-fight press conference ahead of an upcoming UFC bout.
But before you get to excited, the big man isn't taking to the octogon himself.
No, the NBA legend was simply doing a favor for the organization as the UFC and Fox 11 promotes the upcoming heavyweight fight between Fabricio Werdum and Travis Browne due to take place this Saturday night.
Details are still fairly sketchy as to why exactly Shaq offered up his gym space to the media, but UFC President Dana White was happy he did so:
"@SHAQ Thanks for letting us hold the @UFConFOX Orlando press conf at ur house Shaq. U are a good friend," he wrote on Twitter Thursday.
And those who managed to get a press pass to the event were quick to utilise social media too, with a number of journalists posting pictures of the unique surroundings to the site - Shaq's Superman symbol prominent in nearly all of them.
While it is cool that Shaq was willing to open up his home to strangers, we still kind of wish it had been to announce that he himself would be making his UFC bow this weekend.
