Manchester United offered £10m Valencia defender

Manchester United have been given the go ahead from Valencia, to sign their French defender Adil Rami this summer according to the Daily Mail

The 28-year-old international is currently on loan at AC Milan from the La Liga outfit, however the Italian giants have failed to agree on the £10m asking price set by Valencia in order to make the move permanent.

As a result, Manchester United have been offered the chance to sign Rami, if they can meet the valuation set by Los Che.

Whether or not United boss David Moyes would be interested in a deal for Rami remains to be seen, however with Nemanja Vidic set to depart the club at the end of the season, it is thought the Red Devils will be looking to bolster their defence after a disappointing campaign.

And with Champions League experience, as well as 26 caps for the French national side, Rami could prove to be a worthy candidate.

United are in action against Everton this weekend, with Moyes set for a return to Goodison Park for the first time since leaving the club last year.
