8: Edinson Cavani | Napoli to PSG

He may have been the subject of a colossal transfer fee at the back end of last summer - primarily because of his scintillating form for Napoli - but Edinson Cavani's first year in France has hardly been convincing.

Reports of disharmony at the Parc des Princes have never been too far away from the headlines, and rumours that the Uruguayan forward wants a move away from PSG this summer back up the theory that life in Ligue 1 isn't as prosperous as Cavani supposed it would be.

Of course there's the fact that he's been continually played out of position on the wing in order to make way for Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the long striker's role, which exacerbates things further. Our guess is that the 27-year-old made the switch with dollar signs in his eyes and the promise of being the figurehead of a new and exciting European super-power. It's no wonder he wants out.
