Fabregas time at Barca hasn't been all that fruitful..

5: Cesc Fabregas | Arsenal to Barcelona

Admittedly Francesc Fabregas would have been a complete and utter fool to turn down Barcelona when they moved to re-sign him in 2011. Not only were the Catalan giants his boyhood club, but they were also the best team in the world to boot.

Alas things haven't been as rosy as they might have since the former Arsenal captain's switch to the Nou Camp. He's had to fight tooth and nail with Andres Iniesta, Xavi and Sergio Busquets for every bit of game-time he's managed, and even then he's looked somewhat short of producing the dazzling, game-changing showcases he regularly exhibited in the Premier League.

In fact Fabregas' impact at Barca has been so underwhelming that they're said to be considering his sale this summer along with a host of other bit-part players at the club. It may have looked like the dream scenario, but for a 26-year-old almost hitting the peak of his career, jumping ship now seems the best option.
