David Moyes will return to Goodison Park for the first time since leaving Everton to take up the post of Manchester United manager on Sunday - and plenty has changed on Merseyside since he was in charge.
The Scot spent 11 years in charge of the Toffees, forging a reputation as one of the wiliest managers in the country.
However since his switch to Old Trafford in 2013 it would appear that most of his good work has been undone by the impressive impact of Roberto Martinez, who looks capable of helping Everton achieve what they managed under Moyes only once - qualify for the Champions League.
Everton will be ruing dropped points against Crystal Palace in mid-week which handed the initiative back to Arsenal in the race for the top four. The Gunners now have a one point advantage with four games remaining, meaning anything less than three points against Manchester United will not be accepted on Merseyside.
Fighting for a top four spot is something the Red Devils can only dream of; their on course for their lowest Premier League finish under Moyes - and while there is little left for them to fight for - except a Europa League spot - they'll want to win all of their remaining games to garner some momentum ahead of what is likely to be a defining summer transfer window.
They are likely to be able to call upon former Everton man Wayne Rooney who is winning his battle against a toe injury. Rafael has been ruled out with a thigh problem and Jonny Evans is a doubt.
For Everton, captain Phil Jagielka is a major doubt for the game, while James McCarthy has a much better chance of making the match day squad.
Martinez got the better of Moyes in their meeting earlier this season, with a late Bryan Oviedo strike earning the Toffees a 1-0 victory against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
