Manchester United boss David Moyes has confirmed star striker Wayne Rooney is fit to face Everton after recovering from a recent toe injury.
The England striker picked up the injury during his sides Champions League tie with Bayern Munich on April 1, something which looked to have affected his performance in the return leg, but Moyes says he will be back in squad for their latest game.
"Wayne Rooney has trained great this week. He is in really good form. Getting him back is a good thing. said Moyes.
"He just wasn't right with his toe at times in the last game."
When asked if the striker would be in the squad tomorrow, Moyes replied: "Yes."
The Red Devils travel to Goodison Park on Sunday, with both Rooney and Moyes returning to their former club in a clash that could have a big impact on European qualification for both sides.
United currently sit in 7th position in the table, and find themselves nine points behind Everton, albeit with a game in hand, with Europa League qualification their most realistic target.
Everton meanwhile suffered a huge setback in their bid for Champions League qualification as they lost 3-2 to Crystal Palace on Wednesday, and now sit a point behind Arsenal with four games to go.
