Gerrard’s teammate Daniel Sturridge has been amazing this season and has formed a wonderfully productive partnership with Luis Suarez.
Individually, the Englishman has scored 20 goals in 26 league appearances for Liverpool.
He has also contributed with seven assists and all-round brilliant play.
Given that the player was regarded as someone who wasn’t able to cut it at previous clubs Manchester City and Chelsea, Sturridge has proven his doubters wrong by showing consistency since he arrived in January 2013.
