1. Petr Cech or Thibaut Courtois?
This debate has been raging for the majority of the season so far and still many cannot decide. Do you choose Cech's experience in the big matches and the fact that he hasn't yet 'lost it'?
Or is it time to experiment with Courtois, who has arguably been the best goalkeeper in La Liga this season? The choice is Mourinho's and his ruthless nature suggests that Courtois is the number one favourite for the jersey. It is a huge call for the Chelsea boss, one which will be very interesting to observe.
2. Do they need a new left-back?
This seems like a straightforward question and most Chelsea fans will say yes. They'll also suggest Luke Shaw as the perfect replacement to the long-serving Ashley Cole, who could leave the club this summer.
Shaw is seen as the perfect replacement to Cole and would be warmly welcomed into the club he supports. However, once again Mourinho may have other ideas. It is well documented that Mourinho is a big fan of Cesar Azpilicueta and Mourinho could continue to use him as the number one left-back with Ryan Bertrand as back-up.
3. Do they need to replace Frank Lampard?
Lampard has been the key cog of the Chelsea midfield for over 10 years now, but it seems like his time could be coming to an end. A player who hasn't been able to hold a regular place in the side this season, Lampard's chances have also been limited due to the recent arrival of Nemanja Matic.
Chelsea are blessed in that particular position with Ramires, John Obi Mikel, Matic, David Luiz, Lampard and maybe even Marco van Ginkel all able to play in midfield. With Lampard's age slowly but surely catching up with him, do they need a replacement?
4. Which striker should they buy?
The one bit of transfer business that we are almost sure Chelsea will do this summer is buy a striker. Chelsea's current frontmen have been widely criticised for not scoring as often as they should and many believe that a clinical striker would turn them into a formidable force.
The name that continues to be linked with Chelsea is Diego Costa. Another possibility is Radamel Falcao. There is a shortage of top-quality strikers around at the moment and it will be fascinating to see which one Chelsea opt for.
5. What needs to be done with Fernando Torres?
Torres has been labelled some horrible things of late and no-one really knows what actually went wrong with him. His attitude, quality and even his work rate has deteriorated.
The big problem for Chelsea is that they made a big investment in Torres and will look like fools if they get rid of him too soon. Mourinho himself said Torres does have a future at Chelsea, but if they want to progress, Torres unfortunately would have to leave Stamford Bridge.
