Ronda Rousey has slammed her nemesis, Cris 'Cyborg' Santos by suggesting that the Invicta star is 'no longer a woman' and branding her an 'it'.
Rousey having words for Santos comes as no surprise, but the virality of her latest tirade has some people questioning whether the trash talking has gone too far.
While talking to Yahoo Sports, Rousey said "This girl has been on steroids for so long and [has been] injecting herself for so long that she's not even a woman anymore. She's an 'it.' It's not good for the women's division. It's not good at all."
The word choice has upset many though with some branding it 'overkill', while apparel brand Americana has said that it will give $5,000 to the first woman who knocks out Rousey in the ring.
The owner of Americana drew likeness of Rousey's comments to those made by fellow UFC stars, Matt Mitrione and Matt Brown, and how she shouldn't escape some degree of punishment, like those two did for their actions.
Mitrione branded transgender MMA fighter, Fallon Fox a 'sick, sociopathic, disgusting freak' for fighting in the women's division after being born a man, while Brown said that female fighters should be fighting topless.
Mitrione was issued with a fine while Brown was forced to apologise - so far the UFC has done nothing to Rousey, although it's definitely set to tarnish her reputation even more so than her usual trash talk.
Rousey is perhaps one of the biggest trash talkers in MMA and is one of the reasons she's become a must see fighter in her relatively short career, and throughout she's been offering Santos a fight at bantamweight. However, UFC president, Dana White says that's unlikely to happen due to the fact that Santos would struggle to reach the 135lb weight limit.
Rousey also says that bringing in Santos to fight her would kill the division and is yet another reason why the fight won't happen.
"If she comes in the UFC and I beat the [expletive] out of her and then I retire and become an action movie star, then the UFC is still going to be stuck with her.
"The division could die. She could ruin the whole sport. Even though it's a fight a lot of people want to see, even if I beat the living crap out of her, it won't be good for the sport because then she'd still be in the UFC." She said in her Yahoo interview.
So at a time when their rivalry is heating back up, a long awaited clash between the two has never looked further off. With a title defence against Alexis Davis coming up on July 5, Rousey will have beaten most of the division and her next fight after that has been tipped as the returning Gina Carano, or even incumbent #1 contender, Cat Zingano.
