DeSean Jackson gets rejected by pop star Rihanna

Published 1 Comments

Ever since signing his hefty contract with the Washington Redskins, DeSean Jackson seems to have become the most cocksure player in the league.

And the wide receiver took that confidence to new levels at the weekend, trying to chat up pop star Rihanna outside a night club in Los Angeles.

But despite penning a $24 million dollar contract with this new side, it wasn't enough to convince the Barbados-born singer to entertain his company for longer than 15 seconds.

A video has emerged from TMZ Sports of the 'Diamonds' singer leaving a club in LA on Saturday night and entering a car with her entourage.

The former Philadelphia Eagles man - dressed in all white and rocking a blue bandana - swaggered over to the star's 4x4 with rapper The Game acting as his wingman and tried his best to sweet talk the lady.

Unfortunately for the wideout it seems that his skills on the football field don't quite translate into ability with Pop Stars and the receiver found himself headed back into the club empty handed as Rihanna drove away.

A modern day Romeo and Juliet if there ever was.
