As the season draws to a close, there is much talk of the PFA awards, which are soon to be made, and the LMA Manager of the Year award too.

Whilst Luis Suarez, Eden Hazard and Brendan Rodgers eagerly await the outcome of their peers' voting, we look at another award, which is not voted for.

In the summer transfer window of 2013, a record £630million was spent by Premier League clubs.

Here, we take a look at five players who have enjoyed a great deal of success despite barely costing their clubs anything in comparison to some supposed 'superstars'.

It is worth mentioning that this list only takes into account permanent transfers, which is why players like Romelu Lukaku do not feature.
