Real Madrid are keen on the idea of capturing highly-sought after Bayern Munich ace Toni Kroos this summer, and may have even already been offered him by Bayern Munich.

According to Spanish publication El Confidencial tonight’s Champions League clash between arguably Europe’s two biggest sides will give Madrid fans the perfect opportunity to watch a man who may well be moving to the Bernabeu this summer. This follows constant reports linking the German international with an Old Trafford switch, as well as speculation that he is unsettled at the Allianz Arena.

However whilst the chances of Kroos moving to Manchester United were all but scuppered by their failure to qualify for the Champions League - and the subsequent sacking of David Moyes - Madrid remains a viable destination for the 24-year-old. With rumours rife that he is looking for a lucrative new contract, Kroos has repeatedly rejected the chance to commit his long-term future to Bayern, and a move to Los Blancos would most certainly give him the chance to land a big-money deal.

Such news will not sit well in Manchester, but the Red Devils could be boosted in the race were they to appoint Louis van Gaal as Moyes’ replacement.
