There is no doubting that the leading centre-forward in the Premier League is Luis Suarez and he is the main reason Liverpool are sitting five points clear at the top of the table.

The Uruguayan's record of 30 goals in 30 matches is simply sensational and he will probably win the player of the year award and he will probably deserve it. However, it is reasonable to say that Suarez can be profligate at times, as with much of Brendan Rodgers' team, which we saw in their win over Norwich City at the weekend.

We're not really criticising him, as 30 goals before the season is over is an incredible record, but it did get us thinking about those players that are the most consistent in front of goal. Not in terms of goals being scored, but those that hit the target the most often with the shots theydo attempt.

Now, there's no particular reason fro this other than we at GMS love it when a striker at least makes the goalkeeper work when presented with an opportunity. We used the incredible stats resource that is Squawka.com and took at look at which players were hitting the target most often.

So, we picked out the top ten most accurate forwards in the Premier League and put them into a delightful little slideshow for your enjoyment - click below to start the slideshow see the results!
