The four-year wait is nearly over - in just 50 days the 2014 World Cup will kick off in Brazil as 32 teams compete to be crowned the best in the world.

Over the next eight days, we at GiveMeSport will give you the low down on those teams, making sure you know everything there is to know.

From Brazil to Australia, Argentina to Iran, we'll cast our eye over every team - but we want your input too, so be sure to leave your comments on the world's biggest footballing festival.

So without further ado, we start our preview with Group A where hosts Brazil will meet Cameroon, Croatia and Mexico.
