Real Madrid against Bayern Munich is one of the most hotly anticipated games of the European calendar, with both teams focusing on attack and playing some of the best football in the world.
Cristiano Ronaldo continues his blistering form at Madrid, whilst Gareth Bale has been impressive since his world record move in the summer.
Both sides also have a good history in Europe's top competition and holders Bayern Munich will want to be the first side to defend their title under Pep Guardiola. The Spaniard will have a good knowledge of Madrid from his days at Barcelona.
Real Madrid - Cristiano Ronaldo is thought to be fit for the game at the Bernabeau dispute missing the recent cup final against Barcelona. Carlo Ancelotti says he will not rush him back, but he is expected to play at least some part.
Gareth Bale has been suffering with the flu and did not stay at the same hotel as the rest of the side last night, so he is a doubt for the tie. Apart from that, Ancelotti has a full squad to choose from.
Bayern Munich - Pep Guardiola has an incredible record at the home of Real Madrid and should have all players to pick from. Toni Kroos has been apparently unsettled at the club, but will continue to feature if selected.
