Along with links to Tottenham Hotspur, Tim Krul is a target of both Italian giants, AC Milan and Juventus, according to the Daily Star.

Juventus have labelled Krul as Gianluigi Buffon's eventual successor and are set to make a £10million offer to take him to Italy this summer. Nonetheless, Juventus are not alone in their quest to sign the 26-year-old shot stopper.

AC Milan are looking for a long term signing, as they come to terms with the fact that they can't rely on Christian Abbiati for much longer.  A move to a club like this, one of Europe's top teams, would definitely help safeguard his international claims.

After a blinding season for the Magpies, the Dutch international feels his career with the club is now at a crossroads and could be coming to an end. A summer exit from St. James' Park could be the most beneficial move for his individual career as he aspires to be successful at an International level.

Krul was left inconsolable after not being picked for a recent Holland international squad and there are doubts whether he will be attending the 2014 World Cup. Tim Krul told the Star, "Playing at the World Cup is the pinnacle of any player's career. It is what you dream about as a kid and I am no different".

Adding insult to injury, Krul will also be missing European football next season and therefore feels he may need to take his career to the next step in order to achieve his own ambitions. This is where a club such as AC Milan, Juventus or Tottenham would benefit the player, however Alan Pardew would put up a strong fight to keep him on Tyneside.

Despite having two years remaining on his Newcastle contract, finishing at an uncomfortable ninth place just might not be enough to keep Krul at the club. Pardew could well be fighting a loosing battle in an attempt to keep him at Newcastle this summer.
