Seattle Seahawks star, Richard Sherman has been voted to TIME magazine's list of the 100 most influential people in the world, according to their website.
The Super Bowl winner joins other prominent sportspeople on the list such as soccer star, Cristiano Ronaldo and tennis player, Serena Williams.
NBA veteran Jason Collins, who announced he was gay last year also made the list.
Sherman has become known for his outspoken nature over the past two years and reached international attention with his post-game rant at Michael Crabtree after the NFC Championship game in January.
He has over 900,000 followers on twitter, and has often been vocal with his criticism of the NFL on that platform this offseason.
Sherman and Ronaldo are two of only eight people between the ages of 20 and 29 who are included on the list.
Popstar, Miley Cyrus and Snapchat creators Evan Speigel and Bobby Murphy are also prominent young people who have been included.
The Seattle Seahawks will be hoping that Sherman will be just as influential on the football field in 2014.
