Swansea boss Garry Monk has also said that he disagrees with the decision of sacking Moyes, who was in charge for just 10 months and had a win percentage of over 50.
"It does take time. Going into that club as he did, following someone so successful, is always going to be hard. For any manager, you need time," said the 35-year-old.
The former Swansea captain also thinks that football is changing for the worse with these kinds of situations happening more often.
"Nowadays as we see time and time again in this job, you simply don't get the time. It's results driven, especially for a club like Man United that is expected to be winning a lot of trophies every year."
