Liverpool are hot on the tail of one of La Liga’s most promising young talents, Kuki Zalazar, and are aiming to take him to Anfield this summer, according to reports.

TalkSPORT, citing Spanish mouthpiece Marca, claim that despite the fact Zalazar is only 15-years-old he has already attracted the attention the Reds, and that they are looking to tempt him to Merseyside when he turns 16 in June. Naturally their interest has caused quite a stink at the starlet’s current club, and it’s believed Malaga will do all they can to convince him to remain where he is past the point where he's eligibly for a professional contract - including offering incentives such as a the promise of first-team opportunities next summer.

At such a tender age it will be notoriously difficult to envisage whether or not Zalazar has what it takes to cut it in the Premier League, but it seems that Liverpool are willing to try their hand in the hope that they will be able to mould him at their own academy.

Currently sitting five points clear at the Premier League’s summit, the Reds are mulling over a number of acquisitions for the end of this season, but Zalazar most certainly won’t be among Brendan Rodgers’ priorities.
