As we all know, Michael Pineda was ejected from Wednesday's New York Yankees - Boston Red Sox game after being found to have pine tar on his neck.
And during last night's contest between the two MLB powerhouses, the Red Sox nation were not about to let their rivals forget about it - even during the ceremonial first pitch.
Team USA Women's hockey captain, Meghan Duggan was given the honor of throwing the first pitch Thursday and, as a Massachusetts native, proceeded to expertly troll the Yankees pitcher in the process.
As the above image shows, Duggan made reference to the pine tar incident just before she made the pitch - a move that is likely to have gone down well in Bean Town, but perhaps not so much back in the Big Apple.
Pineda meanwhile was yesterday suspended for 10 games by the league who reiterated their stance that pitchers are prohibited from having any 'foreign substance' on them that could potentially help get better purchase on the ball.
The Yankees had the last laugh though after crushing the Red Sox 14-5 on the night, winning the series 2-1.
