This Seria A club broke the record for most loaned-out players in one season. Obviously, they are looking to develop lots of youngsters for the future and make them first-team players very soon...
Just another ordinary club, most of the football fans would say before checking out their loan list. It's everything but ordinary. Roberto Donadini's squad are surely having a lot better season than their previous and it is nice to see an average club like this fighting for a Europa League place.
Their first-team is composed of 27 players, while they have sent an incredible number of 109 footballers out for more experience. Among others, there are names such as Sotiris Ninis, Adbelkader Ghezzal and Slawomir Peszko, all of them regular national team players.
The biggest question of them all is - what will they do with most of them when they return? Surely, some of them will be given the opportunity to shine and took part in most of the league matches. Unfortunately, for those who won't be lucky enough to do the same, it would be appropriate to look for a chance elsewhere.
Led by Antonio Cassano up front, the Italians could experience a new level of success in the league as well as in big competitions. Internazionale currently hold 5th place on the table with only five points in front of this club.
If they manage to overtake Walter Mazzari's club, it would be an extraordinary achievement for the Crusaders, qualifying for the first time after 2006/07 season when they were a part of UEFA Cup.
