An anticipated Flyweight bout between Brad Pickett and Ian McCall is expected to take place at UFC Fight Night 46 in Dublin.

They were expected to meet at UFC Fight Night 37 headlined by Alexander Gustaffson and Jimi Manuwa. However injury just weeks before to McCall forced him out of the fight and Pickett met newcomer Neil Seery.

The pair, who seemingly had respect for each other before the injury to McCall, had a war of words on Twitter. The fight will now be much more than just a battle for the W.

This bout should be highly entertainment. McCall has taken Fight of the Night twice in his four UFC scraps, whereas 'One Punch' has the honors four times from seven Octagon appearances.

Both will be in the hunt of Flyweight Champion Demitrious Johnson, who seems to have a lack of opposition at the top of the 125lbs division.

Pickett is only one of two men who has defeated Johnson at WEC 48 via unanimous decision. Surely if someone is going to dethrone 'Mighty Mouse' it could be Pickett.

UFC Fight Night 46 will be the first time the promotion will return to Ireland since 2010. A headlining bout is yet to emerge. However we are very likely to see Irishman Conor McGregor on the card.
