The rumours continue to rumble on concerning Louis van Gaal’s chances of securing the Manchester United job in the coming days.

Certain reports claim that the Dutchman could be offered a massive contract worth £25million, whilst others speculate that he has already given Old Trafford chief Ed Woodward a list of four names he wants to buy when he’s appoint boss. Toni Kroos, Mats Hummels, Marco Reus and Kevin Strootman all feature.

Now to Chelsea where Jose Mourinho found himself at the centre of criticism regarding his tactics from yesterday. The media ran wild after the Special One engineered a smart 2-0 victory over Liverpool at Anfield by using the ‘park the bus’ tactic to ensure his side remained defensively solid, but certain individuals were less than happy.

Brendan Rodgers led the charged against his counterpart, saying that it was not difficult to coach to play defensive.

Meanwhile certain papers at the weekend claimed that Arsene Wenger is set to be offered a massive deal to leave Arsenal in favour of Monaco.

It’s believed that the Frenchman could be granted £13million-a-year to ditch the Emirates in favour of a move back to his home nation, as Claudio Ranieri is almost certain to leave this summer.
