A common trend with Man Utd's wingers this season is simple; pick up the ball, run forward, then pass sideways or hit a cross that either rebounds off the first man or goes straight into the keeper's arms.
This is not the Manchester United way.
The club have always prided themselves on having quick, exciting wingers that can take on a man, turn inside and smack a shot in the top corner - the problem is, Ashley Young and Antonio Valencia are the furthest thing from that.
Marco Reus can do all that however, and much more. He has transformed himself into a world class winger since his return to Borussia Dortmund and has shown his credentials both domestically and in Europe.
With Dortmund not enjoying the best of seasons and Reus being an apparent United fan, it could be the right time for the Reds to swoop in pinch the German from 'The Yellow Submarine'.
