Manchester United fans mock Steven Gerrard after slip

Published 5 Comments

Manchester United supporters reacted with impressive speed to produce a bunch of amusing memes involving Steven Gerrard after the Liverpool captain slipped over against Chelsea on Sunday.

Gerrard's untimely stumble led to Demba Ba opening the scoring, while Willian added another in the closing stages to earn a precious 2-0 win for Chelsea.

Liverpool stay top of the table, but their destiny is now out of their own hands. If Manchester City win all of their remaining fixtures, they will secure their second Premier League title in three seasons.

A host of memes have gone viral - all mocking the talismanic Liverpool and England skipper, who has been in fine form this season, but may have cost his side the opportunity to win their first league title since 1990.

Some of them are more amusing than others, but FullTimeDEVILS have kindly put them all together in this brilliant video, which is just under two minutes long.

Sorry Liverpool fans.
