A dramatic round of Basketball was played during round three in the West, but with all the ties now at 2-1, it promises a very tense but very exciting round up next in Game 4. We take a look at what happened in Game 3.

In Thursday night's opening Western game in round three, the Memphis Grizzlies survived a Oklahoma City Thunder comeback to secure a 2-1 series lead in overtime, thanks to Courtney Lee's free throwing.

With a lead of 17 going into the final seven and a half minutes, the Grizzlies must have thought the game was up because they let the Thunder back in to the game. Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook each hit 30 but it was not quite enough to give the Thunder a series lead ahead of Game 4.

Blake Griffin was again the go-to man for the LA Clippers as they saw off the Golden State Warriors by just two points in front of a vociferous home crowd to take a 2-1 series lead.

With 32 points and eight rebounds, Griffin was the chief point-scorer for the visitors and despite Klay Thompson hitting 26, the Warriors could not quite comeback from a 75-64 deficit going into the final quarter and The Clippers stole back home-court advantage.

Another match that went to overtime came at The Moda Center as The Portland Trail Blazers lost out to The Houston Rockets by 121-116, 11-6 in OT which ended the tie.

James Harden scored 37 and had nine rebounds to his name in a career playoff-best, whilst LaMarcus Aldridge who had hit 89 points in his first two games of the postseason was quiet for the Blazers with 23.

D-League rookie Troy Daniels hit a 3-pointer with 11 seconds left which silenced the home crowd and narrowed Portland's lead to 2-1 ahead of Game 4.

Vince Carter beat the buzzer with a 3-pointer that sent the American Airlines Center wild as the Dallas Mavericks took a 2-1 series lead over The San-Antonio Spurs.

A tight match which looked to be heading both ways at different stages was decided thanks to Carter in the final seconds. His 3-point jumper swooshed the net and with that the Mavs won by 109-108 against the top seed in the West before Game 4 takes place on Monday night.
