Costa Rica international Alvaro Saborio's exquisite curler for Real Salt Lake was our Major League Soccer goal of the week.
The Royals threw away victory as they conceded two goal in the last five minutes against the Vancouver Whitecaps, but not before Saborio had fired in.
Some neat work from Ned Grabavoy created the space for the Claret and Cobalt's top-scorer, and he shaped the ball beautifully with his left foot, into the far top corner.
FC Dallas may have lost top spot with defeat to DC United, but not before Diaz had given them the lead. He took the ball from Blas Perez's lay-off, and shimmied past the defender before finishing coolly.
The Vancouver Whitecaps had been trailing 2-0 against Real Salt Lake with five minutes remaining, but after Nicolas Mezquida pulled one back, Fernandez scored a stunning equaliser. The Uruguayan collected the ball 30 yards from goal and hit a dipping drive that fooled goalkeeper Nick Rimando.
The Portland Timbers are still waiting for their first win this season, but they picked up their first points on the road in Houston, courtesy of Fernandez's thunderbolt. A through-ball from Kalif Alhassan deflected into the Argentine's feet, and he span and smashed the ball into the top corner, giving Dynamo goalkeeper Tally hall no chance.
