Monta Ellis of the Dallas Mavericks hit an authoritative dunk against the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night during game four of their play-off series.

With the score at 58-44 mid-way through the third quarter, the Spurs had the ball and were looking - even at that stage to just close out the game.

After the ball was stolen, it made its way through two Mavericks  players before coming to Ellis in his own half of the court.

He raced to the basket and took the ball to the hole to cut into San Antonio's lead.
