Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand had his keep-up skills tested to the full by celebrity pal Olly Murs yesterday, with the pop star showing showing a surprisingly assured touch to keep the challenge going for nearly 30 seconds.

Murs is a talented footballer in his own right and is regular a on the charity football circuit, starring in Soccer Aid matches at Old Trafford in recent years, which ensured Rio had a partner worthy of full attention as the pair showed off fancy footwork in a short game of indoor two-touch.

Ferdinand was definitely impressed with the efforts of his popstar pal, who showed a range of flicks and tricks that suggests he could've played to a professional standard if the X Factor didn't come calling.

The Army of Two singer is a massive United fan and was living the dream in a short kickabout with Ferdinand, who threw in a few cheeky moves to keep things interesting.

Find out who came out on top in a short video that sets the bar pretty high for football in the office at the top of the page.
