LeBron James shared an embrace with NBA icon Michael Jordan after the Miami Heat completed a 4-0 first-round playoff series sweep over the Charlotte Bobcats on Monday night.

The Heat's 109-98 at Time Warner Cable Arena - secured in no small part thanks to 31 points, nine assists and seven rebounds from superstar James - saw the Heat safely through to the Eastern Conference semi-finals, where they will face either the Toronto Raptors or the Brooklyn Nets.

Although presumably disappointed by his team's inability to trouble the reigning champion Heat, Jordan - the legendary Chicago Bulls guard who is now the Bobcats' majority owner - was an excellent sport and was clearly perfectly content to congratulate James and his teammates.

Such an embrace appears to have cooled any talk of an uneasy relationship between the two basketball geniuses, too, with speculative reports only last week questioning if James has purposefully stared down Jordan on his way to a powerful dunk during game three in Charlotte.

Take a look at arguably the two greatest players in the history of the sport sharing a pleasant moment in the footage here.
