Things are going from bad to worse for Indiana Pacers All-Star, Paul George. Not only are his team on the verge of being eliminated from the playoffs but to make matters worse $15,000 worth of jewellery and shoes were reportedly taken from his home last night.
The robbery, according to RTV6 in Indiana, was reported by George's parents just before midnight. Police believe that the burglary occurred between 7:15pm and 11:45pm.
George was involved in the Pacers defeat to the Atlanta Hawks last night, a game which tipped at 8:00pm local time.
RTV6 reported that ":Among the missing items: a 2014 Paul George NBA platinum All Star ring with diamonds, 15 watches and a pair of Air Jordan 4 "Toro" shoes. A $20 bill was also taken from the home."
Also according to reports, George's parents failed to lock the property when they left to watch the game because they did not have a key.
After the Pacers defeat last night, they trail the first round series to the Atlanta Hawks 3-2 with game six to take place on Thursday in Atlanta.
Investigations into the burglary are ongoing.
