Potential Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has reportedly drawn up a transfer wishlist for Manchester United this summer, with a reported £200 million budget available to him.
Borussia Dortmund's winger Marco Reus and Bayern Munich's playmaker Toni Kroos have been primed as number one transfer targets and they would certainly fit the bill should they join United in the summer.
Reports last week suggested that Holland manager Van Gaal, who is set to leave his post as manager after the World Cup, is to join Manchester United as manager. This came after the news broke of the departure of David Moyes as United manager after just ten months in charge.
If the reports are anything to go by, then it would be of no surprise that Van Gaal has already drawn up a transfer wish-list in a bid to get his dealing done early, something that previous United manager Moyes was unable to do.
Kroos has been a reported long-term transfer target for the Red Devils and the Bayern Munich playmaker has yet to commit his long term future to the German champions, further adding to the transfer speculation.
Reus too has been a target for United, and if you believe what you read in the papers, he sees United as a perfect destination for him to continue his career.
With Van Gaal not being officially available until after the World Cup, if he was to become the new Manchester United boss, he would have to act quick in the transfer market in a bid to prepare for the season, which is something the club are keen to look at.
