Tottenham have issued a statement denying claims they have approached other clubs regarding their coaching staff.

The Premier League outfit are reportedly searching for a new manager to replace Tim Sherwood, and Dutch champions Ajax said on Tuesday that Spurs contacted them last month over the availability of Frank de Boer.

John Terry has confirmed he is hoping to sign a new deal with Chelsea and finish his career at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues captain - who will be back in the team for tonight's Champions League semi-final second leg clash with Atletico Madrid - is out of contract at the end of the season.

Elsewhere, Gareth Bale paid tribute to Cristiano Ronaldo after the Ballon d'Or winner fired Real Madrid into the Champions League final following a 5-0 aggregate victory over holders Bayern Munich.

Brendan Rodgers wants his players to enjoy the thrill of the title race irrespective of where Liverpool finish in the Premier League table.

And finally, Aaron Ramsey believes a more "streetwise" approach against their rivals would have kept Arsenal in contention for the domestic crown.
