Floyd Mayweather Senior interrupted an interview at the MGM Grand to lay down some more lyrics about his son ahead of his forthcoming fight against Marcos Maidana in Las Vegas on Saturday night.

The 37-year-old WBC world welterweight champion's father - who is also trainer to Floyd Junior - is a notoriously extrovert character and flamboyant dresser, often wearing colourful suits, ties and shoes to news conferences.

He also regularly recites poetry and is referred to by some fight fans as the "poet laureate of boxing".

The 61-year-old wordsmith's latest offering is equally impressive, and drew smiles from a number of the reporters gathered for a pre-fight interview with the Money Mayweather clan.
