Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger remains keen on Liverpool transfer target Divock Origi, according to talkSPORT.

Liverpool have been mentioned as long-term admirers of the Belgium youth international, but Anfield scouts have been joined by Arsenal ones in recent weeks.

The report claims Lille are ready to fight to hold on to their 19-year-old wing wizard, with the French club ready to slap a £12m asking price on him to warn off interest.

And it's not just Arsenal and Liverpool after his services - there's set to be a battle at international level too with Kenya and Belgium competing to get him to commit.

As mentioned, Origi has played for several Belgium youth teams at various age groups, but he's eligible to play for Kenya as well.

He's bagged five goals in 27 appearances in Ligue 1 this season, although 15 of those appearances were as a substitute.

Arsenal scouts have been regular attendees at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy, with the report also noting that the Gunners are after Idrissa Gueye as well as Origi.

Origi started his career with Racing Genk in Belgium, but moved to Lille in 2010 to play for its youth team.
