Derek Jeter likes playing with Robinson Cano's beard

Robinson Cano is an interesting character never mind just a baseball player, and Derek Jeter has been the latest to take a unique interest in the ball player.

The New York Yankees legend is usually quite cool, calm and collected around MLB players, but on Tuesday he was taken aback by the sight of Cano's new and unique beard.

As the two players went to shake each others hands and greet before the Yankees game against the Seattle Mariners Tuesday, Jeter couldn't help but touch up Cano's beard and level some banter at the second baseman.

Cano's appearance against the Yankees was his first since his move from the Big Apple at the end of last season.

Clearly still enjoying the company of his former team-mates, Cano shared a few jokes before his Mariners team took the game 6-3 at Yankees Stadium.

The defeat left Seattle with a 11-14 record, while the Yankees stand at 15-11.
