When Stephanie set Kane on Daniel Bryan two weeks ago no one thought it would have the reaction it did, and no one predicted it would lead to Stephanie herself stepping back between the ropes.
Daniel went out of his way on Monday Night Raw to include Brie in his promo aimed at Stephanie, asking her how she thought Brie felt having to stand by and do nothing after he has been attacked by The Authority over the past few months and Brie even tweeting after Wrestlemania that she wasn't allowed to go out and celebrate with her husband after he defied the odds and won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, which planted a few seeds for an upcoming rivalry.
Even after all this it wasn't until Brie turned on the wife of the COO on Monday and called her a "Bitch" that it seemed the rivalry had finally taken it's first steps.
Even though Stephanie has denied any involvement in what Kane did when he attacked Daniel a week ago it seems neither Brie nor Daniel believe her and it may lead to her admitting she was really behind it with Kane even trying to kidnap Brie three days ago on Raw.
Neither women are strangers to the squared circle as Brie is a former Divas Champion and Stephanie a former Women's champion. Even though the daughter of Vince McMahon has been away from the ring for a while she has been tweeting occasionally showing she is still in the gym on a daily basis.
Although Brie hasn't fought much lately since her sister Nikki returned to the ring, when she has fought she has shown signs of ring improvement and has shown that she has been putting the hours into training with her new husband.
Stephanie returning to the ring could only be further good news to the divas division even though it has seen a vast improvement in recent weeks.
This weekend Paige is set to defend her title against Tamina in what should be an epic clash, and with AJ set for a return later this month and Natalya and Nikki already at the top of their game, this could be an exciting time for the divas division and we could finally see the women given the time they deserve.
