Mayweather to make $32M for next fight

How much money will you make the next time you go to work?

Whatever the number, Floyd Mayweather is set to make just a bit more than that for his next shift in the ring.

The undefeated welterweight champion puts his array of belts on the line this Saturday against Marcos Maidana, and the champ has a guaranteed purse of $32 million for the potential 36 minute fight.

That $32 million doesn't include his pay-per-view percentages, which could push the number closer to the record held for a single fight, which is $41.5 million, also held by Mayweather.

Maidana will be rewarded for his efforts, win or lose, with a guarantee expected to be in the $2-$3 million range.

Mayweather, who recently expressed interest in purchasing the Los Angeles Clippers, in the wake of the Donald Sterling fiasco, is the world's highest paid athlete, according to Forbes, and has an estimated net worth of $170 million.
