Chelsea could be set for a summer of unprecedented change, after reports emerged this morning claiming that Jose Mourinho is poised to wield the axe on as many as 15 of his first-team players.
The big name victims are David Luiz, Ramires, Fernando Torres and Romelu Lukaku, whilst the Special One is aiming to bring in both Mario Mandzukic and Diego Costa to bolster his attack.
Now over to Manchester United, where the list of targets devised by potential new boss Louis van Gaal continues to grow. Not only does Dutchman reportedly want to purchase Mats Hummels, Marco Reus and Toni Kroos, but he’s also now being linked with moves for fellow German stars Thomas Muller and Mario Gotze.
For now though it remains pure speculation, as the 62-year-old has yet to be appointed in any official capacity.
Finally, Arsenal star Bacary Sagna is ready to make a definitive decision over his future at the club this month, but will wait until after the F.A Cup final.
The talk of the town has suggested that the Frenchman may trade the Emirates for Manchester City and that he has yet to confirm whether or not he’ll take up Arsene Wenger on his offer of a new deal. The club are said to be reluctant to offer Sagna what he feels he deserves salary wise.
