Arsenal are keeping tabs on Polish wonderkid Dawid Kownacki with view of making an offer at the end of the season according to reports.

The 17-year-old made his debut for Polish outfit Lech Posnan back in December - the same club that Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski made his name with.

According to TalkSPORT, Arsenal monitoring the talented youngster and could move to sign him in the summer.

They add that Arsenal scouts have been casting an eye over Kownacki following his debut, and could make an offer for the £275,000-rated player.

Kownacki is a midfielder, and so far has scored twice in his eight league appearances for Lech Posnan.

Arsenal are expected to be busy in the summer transfer market, having fallen off the pace in the Premier League title race this season.

The Gunners were well in the mix at the start of 2014 but have fallen away, leaving them forced to settle for a scrap over the fourth and final Champions League qualification spot.

They also have the FA Cup in their sights with a final against Hull City at Wembley to come later this month.

Arsene Wenger's side can confirm their qualification for European club football's leading competition with victory over West Brom at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
