AJ McCarron has been doing everything in his power in recent months to impress NFL teams and rise up draft boards across the league again of next Friday's event.

But it seems that the former Alabama quarterback is gaining respect not only for his playing ability, but for his relationship choices from one NFL player at least.

Late Thursday night Arizona Cardinals linebacker Darnell Dockett tweeted a picture to the draft prospect with his image photoshopped in alongside the happy couple.

An image which included the rather crude message, 'Sharing is Caring'.

And Dockett continued his praise for the young QB who helped his team to two national titles in college:

"@10AJMcCarron congrats on ya success. We would love to have you a part of our team. "rookie night would be epic," he wrote.

McCarron responded, thanking the three-time Pro Bowler via social media, as he took the comments in his stride:

"lol sounds great bro I know I gotta earn my stripes just like every rookie that comes in the league every year #birdgang," wrote McCarron.

The quarterback is projected to be taken somewhere in the second round at next weeks 2014 NFL draft, and with the Cardinals reportedly keen on adding depth to their QB roster it is a possibility McCarron could end up in Arizona in 2014.
