Three Manchester United stars could be on their way out of Old Trafford this summer - if the club can complete moves for two midfielders in the up coming transfer window, according to The Manchester Evening News

If reports are to be believed, the likes of Tom Cleverley, Darren Fletcher and Marouane Fellaini could be heading for the Old Trafford exit door this summer.

With  Louis van Gaal expected to be named Manchester United's new manager in the near future, it appears that a number of changes could be made at the club.

And, after a nightmare season, Manchester United's midfielders could be sacrificed under new management. Cleverley and Fletcher have struggled for form throughout the campaign, whilst Fellaini has struggled in his debut season with the club.

However, the trio could all stay at Manchester United, if the club aren't able to recruit players in the same position.

The likes of William Carvalho and Paul Pogba are still being monitored by Manchester United executive vice chairman Ed Woodward, as the club look to enter a new era in the 2014/15 campaign.

It remains to be seen as to whether the Red Devils can attract the leading talents in world football this summer.
