We begin in the NBA where the fall out from Donald Sterling’s lifetime ban continues.

With the league looking to force the disgraced LA Clippers owners to sell up, a number of high profile names are reportedly considering takeover bids including Oprah Winfrey and P Diddy.

Meanwhile on the court, Kevin Durant responded to criticism from the media yesterday to help the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 104-84 win against the Memphis Grizzlies in Game Six of their playoff series.

Durant had been labeled Mr. Unreliable by one Oklahoma newspaper but posted 36 points and 10 rebounds to answer his critics last night.

Over to baseball and the Tampa Bay Rays had a productive day in Boston yesterday after defeating the Red Sox twice in a Fenway Park doubleheader.

And finally, the Montreal Canadiens and Boston Bruins needed double overtime to separate them in Game One of their conference semi final playoff contest.

The Canadiens came out on top 4-3 thanks to a slapshot finish from PK Subban.
