The Memphis Grizzlies have been dealt a big blow ahead of game seven of their play-off series against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday.

Forward Zach Randolph has been suspended for the showdown in Oklahoma City after 'punching' Thunder Center Steven Adams in the jaw.

With just under seven minutes left in the fourth quarter of game six on Thursday night, the game was stopped following the incident which has led to Friday's announcement.

Oklahoma went on to win the match 104-84 and tie the series at 3-3 forcing a seventh game showdown between the two sides.

The series has focused largely upon the Thunder's Kevin Durant who has put in some questionable performances thus far in this years play-offs.

But when game seven tips off on Saturday, it will anyone's guess who will emerge victorious as the supposed second seed in the Western Conference takes on the team who are meant to be five places behind them.
