It's the time of the season when rumours begin to surface about potential summer targets and a club which promises to be worth watching is Liverpool.
Brendan Rodgers' side are still hopeful they can win the title; however it's already confirmed they will qualify for Champions League football next season.
To stand any reasonable chance in next year's competition; Liverpool will have to add quality and depth to he squad, that's a given. But which stars have been linked with a summer switch to Anfield and how might Rodgers set said team up?
This line-up see's a few new additions as well as some familiar faces. The goalkeeper remains Simon Mignolet however he has had an underwhelming first season for the Red's and fan favourite Pepe Reina may be Liverpool's number 1 again after his loan spell with Napoli expires at the end of the campaign.
Newspapers are reporting that Micah Richards could be on his way to Liverpool after only appearing for Manchester City twice in the League so far this season. The English full back has had a career plagued with injury but may want to find a new club where he can make frequent appearances whilst Liverpool will look to add depth to the right side of defence.
Long term Liverpool target Kyriakos Papdopoulos also features in this line-up alongside current star Martin Skrtel. The club have been chasing the Greek's signature for a number of years and this could be the year he finally signs.
The left side of defence is filled by Germany's Marcel Schmelzer. The 26 year old currently playing for Borussia Dortmund could be brought in to supply Champions League experience to a role currently filled by youth player Jon Flanagan who will no doubt feature on either side of defence for the Red's next season.
The holding midfield role is unsurprisingly home to Steven Gerrard after Brendan Rodgers unveiled the skipper will be staying on after 2015.
The two wingers in this side both have electric pace and fantastic close ball control. Current star Raheem Sterling will most likely play down the left-had side while potential signing Hatem Ben Arfa will play on the right. The Frenchman will want an exit from Newcastle United after finding form and a starting spot hard to come by under Alan Pardew; and Liverpool have expressed interest in the winger over the last couple of years.
The attacking midfield role could have easily been Philippe Coutinho however it's Adam Lallana who features. The thought of these two exciting talents battling for a starting spot is a thrilling prospect. Also, both players have versatility on their side as they could play anywhere in the midfieled and attack.
Adam Lallana was recently named in the PFA Team of the Season and looks set to be on the plane to Brazil with England this summer. On return he may become a Liverpool player although Southampton are unlikely to want to see the player go at any price.
Of course who else would lead the attack apart from the famed S.A.S who both featured in the PFA Team of the Season; it was also a busy night for Luis Suarez as he picked up player of the season following his 30 goals so far.
Rumours have linked Suarez with a big money move to Real Madrid but the Uruguayan has insisted he loves life in Liverpool and wants to stay at the club.
