Floyd Mayweather will step into the ring with Maidana on Saturday 3rd of May at his Las Vegas home the MGM Grand Arena. Will Floyd make it 46-0 or will Maidana be the first person to unlock the secret to beating the champ?
Here are the reasons why Mayweather is going to win:
Floyd boasts a 100% record, claims he is the pound-for-pound king and he is the greatest ever. This has made many people dislike the man because they see it as arrogance. Floyd isn't fazed at all by what the media or any of the opponents think about him because he claims "if you love me or hate me doesn't matter at least I'm not fake". He doesn't allow people to get a psychological advantage over him.
Behind all the flamboyant money-spending and flash-car driving, there is an even stronger part of him that will help him secure the win on the weekend and this is his 'HARD WORK DEDICATION' mantra.
He firmly believes in if you work hard and dedicate to the task you will be a success and this has proven to be true with Floyd Mayweather. He has been top of the food chain for 18 years and he trains harder then anyone else in the sport of boxing.
Floyd has been on top for 18 years and has had a lot of high profile fights in the past. He has stepped in the ring with Hatton, Dela Hoya, Canelo and many more, and the thing these fighters have in common they all failed to beat Floyd. He can talk the talk and even more impressively he can walk the walk and proved it 45 times. Maidana is a terrific fighter but he won't have faced anyone like Mayweather, and I think he won't be prepared to match up to the veterans ability in the ring.
His Boxing Style:
The biggest asset to Mayweather is that he knows boxing inside and out. He won't waste energy throwing punches to get the knock-out, he picks when he throws a punch and you can believe it will hit. In his last bout with Canelo he was patient in the build up and allowed his opponent to swing and miss while picking him off with counter punches.
I think the fight will go to the end and Mayweather will win on the decision. I think Maidana will be the champion in the future but I don't see the King stepping down from the thrown any time soon.
