This week Manchester United have announced that there will be a permanent singing section at Old Trafford during the 2014/15 season.

The section will be in J stand and, although there has been opposition to the move by fans who fear they will be ejected from the area, United are determined for the move to go ahead.

It's an attempt to regain the atmosphere that Old Trafford once housed. With success came, in Roy Keane's words, the "prawn sandwich brigade", which has resulted in Manchester United being the butt of most atmosphere based jokes.
