#5 Drew Brees (Madden 11)

This one is subjective, but it can be argued that Brees fell a victim in different ways.

His 2010 season was still outstanding, throwing for 4000+ yards and 30+ TDs, he led his Saints team into the play-offs.

But it's key to remember the New Orleans Saints were the defending Super Bowl champions, and a true force on the field, they were tipped to accomplish back-to-back Super Bowl wins.

Well coming into the Wild Card Play Off game, against the Seattle Seahawks, the Saints were the overwhelming favourites. After all the Seahawks were the first team ever to make the play-offs with a losing record.

But the Saints lost.

In arguably the biggest upset in NFL play-off history, the Saints lost to statisticaly the worst team to ever make it that far in the season, Brees played in that game and his performance could do nothing to stop the defeat.
